Quiz Night was great. Thanks to all those who came and making it such an enjoyable night. The winning team was made up of our President, Jean Smith, Treasurer Anna Clarke & husband Martin, our MD Martin Cleave, Hiran & Charlotte de Silva - brain boxes!!!!!! The RLOS Quiz Masters were superb - thanks to Diana & Malcom Ayling. £208 was raised. Diane H x
Auction Night: Friday 25 September 2009, Thanks to those who donated prizes and those who bid. Together we raised nearly £900. Well done.
Garden Barbecue Party: Sunday 12 July 2009
Well, what a great do! And we only had two brief showers of rain....thankfully. Was a grand success in terms of enjoyment, fun, full bellies, and of course fund-raising, £270 approx was made. Huge thanks to Dave Hughes for being cook extraordinaire, and Janey Hughes for helping set-up, and Katrina for so ably chopping up veg and washing up!! It was hard work for Ruthy & I, but so worth it - I'm sure you'll all agree. Those who could not make it, be there next year, or be square.... Thank you for your support all who came & played the tombola. Diane x
